Gorilla under Glass

I was working at an ad agency in Marina Del Rey in 1991. I had to drive through South Central Los Angeles during my commute. You could feel the pressure building daily during the Rodney King trials. It was like an 800-pound gorilla on the loose. I had a premonition that things had deeply divided the black community. 1992 proved me right.
